About Autobid and how it works.

Autobid is a platform developed to bring industry professionals together. It’s a place where major auto industry sellers and national buyers can transact online, in absolute confidence.
The system was created to fill a long standing need for motor businesses to have suitable intelligence and control over the process of part exchanges and trade disposals as well as offering a transparent and equitable disposal method. A need recognised by every major player in the industry today that ensures market reach and optimisation.

Autobid has three areas of focus and their use will be dependent on the type of organisation or part of an organisation you operate within, they are;

• Autobid Trade Centre – For Major Dealer Groups and Leasing companies Autobid  and their trade customers
• Autobid Special Sale Events - For Manufacturers, distributors, finance houses and their dealers
• Autobid Deals – for dealerships and their customers

Autobid Trade Centre

Is a tool for senior management to manage the part exchange appraisal and valuation process whether they be major dealer group or leasing company.

Management - For sales management pre trade-in

1. Autobid will record and manage all aspects of used vehicle appraisal
2. Our system ensures that all the information used to arrive at a valuation is correct
3. Autobid imparts to your sales managers the market intelligence that enables valuations using realtime comparables
4. The system enables managers to measure traffic and close ratios etc
5. Autobid also allows managers to record and measure disposal methods

Disposals - For trade car disposal

1. Autobid enable its user group to present their non retail vehicles to a national audience via the platform.
2. Units presented for auction are photographed, described and history checked to a consistent and strict standard every time. Autobid ensure this to ensure absolute confidence when buying online.
3. These units will be displayed for on average 4 days
4. The auction is conducted on line and after winning the registered buyer pays any fees and has 60 hrs to transfer funds to the seller. Once the seller is in funds the buyer may collect the unit. Thus no exposure to either party.
5. Pending payment delivery can be arranged through our national partner NVD.

The whole process from upload to sale takes less than the time to clear a cheque whilst ensuring that the asset remains with the seller until paid in full.

In the event of unlikely conflict - A conflict resolution charter is part of the T&C’s for any registered buyer or seller and should any unlikely anomaly between descriptions and actual arrive then both parties are protected by a commitment to adhere to the content of same (available on sign up).

Autobid Closed Sale Events

Autobid has developed within the platform the ability to host closed sales.

The facility enable entities such as manufacturers, distributors, finance and leasing companies or specialist sellers to present, with their own branding, their product online with access only to whom they wish to permit access.

Case study

1. A manufacturer has decided to turn their company car fleet
2. Their dealer network are issued with an invite to a special closed online event and private log in details for same
3. The dealer network can log-in pre the event to view and identify what they wish to buy.
4. On the day of the event the cars will be sold to the highest bidders assuming they have past their reserve or at the discretion of the seller.
5. The manufacturer will invoice the winning dealer under the agreed terms for the event and deliver to his point of sale.

The whole process ensures a transparent and equitable sales process whilst ensuring optimisation of sale prices.
