2015 Go Further Sales Event

As the January new car market draws near, Ford has announced an exciting range of offers as part of ‘The 2015 Go Further Sales Event’ on some of Ireland’s best-selling cars, plus a new deal that will give owners of vehicles up to 10 years old the opportunity to ‘swap’ their car for a new 151 Ford model and receive a special one-off bonus of €1,500. 

The 2015 Go Further Sales Event offers substantial discounts on a range of new Ford models including the country’s best-selling car, the Ford Focus, as well as Fiesta, B-MAX, C-MAX and Kuga.  Plus each model comes with an extended five years full warranty.  The event, which also includes a new ‘Swappage’ programme, starts this Friday and runs until 30 November. 

Under the terms of the Swappage scheme, owners of vehicles registered from 2005 onwards can trade in against a brand new Ford at their local dealership.  Customers will receive a special €1,500 ‘Swappage allowance’ on top of their current vehicle’s trade-in value and, according to the company, the offer is set to give a major boost to the January car market. 

“There are a lot of people out there who are waiting to trade up to a new car but aren’t sure if the time is right,” said Eddie Murphy, Chairman and Managing Director of Ford Ireland. “Our ‘Go Further’ sale and Swappage scheme is aimed squarely at owners of cars up to 10 years old, and with the sheer value on offer we hope it will make ‘151’ car ownership a reality for thousands of motorists.” 

“In addition to the €1,500 Swappage allowance, all the Ford models available as part of the offer – including our best-selling Focus – also come with discounted packs of added features and technology.” Mr Murphy added.  “Swappage could be the single biggest factor in getting people behind the wheel of a new car in 2015.” 

The eagerly-anticipated All-New Ford Mondeo is also included in the event offering with a low interest 4.9 percent APR offer available on the Mondeo Zetec 1.6 litre TDCi 115PS if ordered by November 30, from €299 per month*. 

The brand new Ford Focus is also part of The 2015 Go Further Sales Event with unique upgrade packs available on the Style, Zetec and Titanium models. 

As part of the promotion, Ford is also offering FordOptions* deals at the super-low rate of 4.9% APR– FordOptions is a new finance package that helps customers purchase their car with the security of a guaranteed minimum future value.
