Exa Corporation, a global innovator in simulation software, will present its vision of a simulation-driven future for automotive design and engineering at the 2016 Paris Motor Show. The company’s press conference takes place at 12:30 on Friday 30th September (Hall 2.3 / Aisle E / Stand 601).
During the press conference, Exa CEO, Steve Remondi, will be joined by representatives from Jaguar Land Rover, DENSO Corporation and Onroak Automotive – companies which believe in the use of digital simulation as a strategic tool early in the product development process, resulting in optimum design solutions.
The strategic use of this technology – known as ‘simulation-driven design’ – provides for a more accurate analysis of performance in real-world operating conditions, and allows for actionable feedback and insight on how to improve – something not possible when simply employing traditional testing methods such as wind tunnels and physical prototypes.
Exa works with most of the world’s passenger vehicle manufacturers and many of the cars making their debuts in Paris have been developed using ‘simulation-driven design’.
